Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Parent Teacher Organization Organization operates as a cooperative group of parents and teachers. The primary goals of the PTO involve fostering communication between faculty, parents, students, and the parish community. The PTO helps to integrate the resources of the students, parents, staff, and parish in order to help enrich students' lives and help them achieve their educational objectives. Through the PTO, parents are not only given opportunities to play an active role in their students'' education, but are also provided social avenues through which families, staff, clergy, parish and the community may come together.

Host Family Program:
This committee links every new St. Rose family with an established family in order to smooth the transition for parents and students. The Host Families are available to answer questions and guide the new familes through their first months at St. Rose.

Pizza Lunch Program:
This committee organizes the weekly pizza lunch fundraisers. Traditionally, the weeks' proceeds benefit either the 7th Grade Catalina Trip fund or the PTO fund depending on the week. A 7th Grade parent organizes volunteers for the 7th Grade's lunches each month, and a PTO member organizes volunteers for the alternate weeks.

Harvest Festival:
This event is oftentimes PTO's biggest fundraising event each year. It is held in the Parish Hall the weekend closest to Halloween. It is an opportunity for the young children of the community to come together to show off their costumes, play carnival games and receive treats. It can be a safe alternative or an addition to neighborhood trick-or-treating. Usually a light dinner is offered for a fee.

Santa's Workshop:
This event is offered as a means for kids to get into the holiday spirit of gift making and giving. Two sessions are usually offered the first weekend in December. For a fee to cover costs, students may come and make simple gifts to give to family members or friends for Christmas. Sessions are supervised so parents may go get a bit of shopping done without children in tow.

Teacher Appreciation Week:

This is our opportunity to say thank you to the faculty and staff of St. Rose School and Church. It is usually held the first week in May. Staff are presented with small gifts during the week, and invited to a luncheon on the final day.
