4th Grade
In the fourth grade classroom, students have a variety of learning
experiences. They work together individually, in pairs, and in groups.
In Fourth Grade , much of the curriculum is based on California
History, about which the children read and write. Manipulatives,
and games are used in Math and Science. Overall our goal is to teach
students to be responsible and faithful Christians, who will become
lifelong learners.
Service Projects
The fourth grade classdecides on a project each year that will
benefit our community. In addition , our class will participate
in the Canned Food Drive, Coats for Kids, Toys for Tots and Operation
Rice Bowl.
Field trips are an important part of our classroom curriculum.Trips
planned for this year include: Rancho El Chorro, the missions, and
Monterey Bay Aquarium. Chaperones are needed for all field trips.
